Konvekta was founded 1957 by Carl-H. Schmitt who is chairman of the supervisory board today. The company still is 100% family owned.

We put a special focus on the handling with environmental friendly resources which means that we develop the most environmental friendly products of our industry and our management system is certified according to the standard of ISO 14001.

Being honoured with the German Environment Award was a further milestone for Konvekta. The company received this decoration for the development of an air-conditioning unit with a natural and thus environment-friendly refrigerant – CO2.
